Every learner has different strengths, needs and ways of learning. BLC creates an inclusive learning environment where children can receive support that responds to who they are and how they learn
BLC works alongside families, educators and relevant specialists to create consistent and supportive learning pathways.
Inclusive Learning & Support
Every Learner Has a Place to Belong.
Support Built Around the Learner
Inclusion at BLC means looking beyond a single label or diagnosis and understanding the learner's strengths, needs, abilities and goals.
Support may involve individualised educational strategies, specialist services, collaboration with families, or coordination with relevant professionals where appropriate.
A learner may receive additional educational or SEN support based on needs identified through BLC's educational and support processes. Not every learner receiving SEN or learning support will have a formal medical or clinical diagnosis at enrolment.
Where appropriate, BLC may collaborate with families and relevant external professionals to better understand a learner's needs and support their educational journey.
Learning Works Better Together.
Supporting a learner is a shared process. BLC works with families and relevant educators and specialists to build understanding, communicate consistently and create an environment where each learner can participate, develop and belong.
